I recently bought a Nissan Leaf and I'm not able to drive it as often as I'd like due to my work schedule. How long can I leave it parked without driving before it has negative effects on the battery? Should I charge it every time I drive it even if it's just for short distances?
ReplyIdeally, you should drive your Nissan Leaf at least once a week to keep the battery healthy. However, if you need to leave it parked for longer periods of time, it's recommended to charge it to around 80% before parking it. This will prevent the battery from reaching its lower state of charge, which can cause deterioration over time.
