What is the best suspension setup for off-roading in a Nissan Patrol?

I am planning to do some serious off-roading in my Nissan Patrol, but I'm not sure which suspension setup would be best. I've heard different opinions and recommendations, but I want to know from experienced Nissan Patrol owners what has worked best for them.

I've been off-roading in my Nissan Patrol for years and have tried different suspension setups. In my experience, a lift kit combined with heavy-duty shocks and springs is the way to go. It provides better ground clearance and improved shock absorption on rough terrain.
