What is the best way to maintain the exterior of a Nissan X-Trail?

I recently purchased a Nissan X-Trail and want to make sure the exterior stays in great condition for as long as possible. What are some maintenance tips and tricks I should know about? Any specific products or techniques that work well?

I highly recommend investing in a good quality wax and applying it every few months. This will protect the paint and keep it looking shiny for longer. As for products, I personally use Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax and have had great results.
