What is the best year model for a Nissan Navara?

I am planning to purchase a Nissan Navara and I'm not sure which year model to choose. I've heard that models from 2017 and later have had some issues with the transmission. Can anyone give me some advice on which year model to go for? Thanks!

In my experience, I've had the best luck with the 2015 Nissan Navara. It's reliable and has great performance. I would definitely recommend it over the newer models.

I would suggest staying away from the 2017 and 2018 models. They had some major issues with the transmission that caused a lot of headaches for owners. I would go for a 2016 or earlier model.

I have a 2019 Nissan Navara and I haven't had any issues with it so far. I think the newer models have worked out the transmission issues and have even added some new features. I would recommend a 2019 or 2020 model.
