Which fuel efficiency option is best for the Nissan X-Trail?

I'm not sure which fuel efficiency option to choose for my Nissan X-Trail. Should I go for the diesel option or stick with the petrol one? Which one would be more efficient and cost-effective in the long run?

Based on my experience with diesel and petrol cars, I would personally recommend going for the diesel option. It may have a higher upfront cost but the fuel efficiency and overall cost-saving in the long run make it a better choice.
