Why does my Nissan Juke have a loud grinding noise when I hit the brakes?

I just bought my Nissan Juke and noticed that when I hit the brakes, there is a loud grinding noise that comes from the front. Is this normal or should I be worried? What could be causing this noise?

Hi Samantha, it is not normal for your Nissan Juke to make a loud grinding noise when you hit the brakes. It could be a sign of worn brake pads or rotors. I recommend taking your car to a mechanic to have it inspected and potentially replaced.

Samantha, I had the same issue with my Nissan Juke. It turned out that the brake calipers were not properly lubricated. I suggest taking your car to a mechanic who is familiar with Nissan Jukes to have them inspect and lubricate the brake calipers.

I'm sorry to hear about the noise, Samantha. It could also be a sign of a loose or damaged brake component. I highly recommend taking your car to a certified Nissan dealership for a thorough inspection and repair.
